Powerful Quadruped with advanced sensors
Weighing about 37 kg yet built for industrial‑grade tasks, the A2 can walk for roughly 3 hours under load and up to 5 hours unloaded, carries heavy payloads, employs front‑ and rear‑mounted LiDAR sensors for zero‑blind‑spot awareness, and features hot‑swappable dual batteries that operate reliably from −20 °C to 55 °C for uninterrupted logistics, inspection and emergency missions
Features
Detailed technical specifications are available for each robot, and we provide them as part of a free consultation to help you choose the right solution.
Agile and Swift
The 37 kg robot walks continuously for about 3 hours (12.5 km) when loaded and up to 5 hours (20 km) when unloaded
Hot‑Swappable Dual‑Battery System
Parallel batteries allow seamless swaps without stopping and operate reliably from −20 °C to 55 °C.
Dual‑Sided Perception
Two industrial LiDARs (front and rear), an HD camera and a front light provide zero blind spots and accurate environmental sensing.
Load capacity
The robot supports a continuous walking load of up to 25 kg and can withstand a standing load of up to 100 kg.
Unitree A2 variations
Several versions of the Unitree A2 are available, tailored to distinct industrial requirements. Take advantage of our free consultation to choose the right configuration for your application.
A2
The standard industrial model combines dual LiDAR sensors and a front‑mounted HD camera to provide full 360° perception. Weighing about 37 kg, it can walk continuously for roughly 20 km unloaded (around five hours) or 12.5 km when carrying its 25 kg dynamic payload. The robot scales slopes up to 45° and negotiates obstacles up to a metre high. Twin hot‑swappable batteries enable uninterrupted missions, making this model ideal for inspection, logistics, and research tasks where robust mobility, extended endurance, and heavy‑load handling are essential.
A2 PRO
Built on the same proven platform as the standard A2, the Pro variant adds advanced navigation and ruggedisation features. Additional sensors—including GPS and wireless vector positioning—enhance outdoor localisation, while an expanded computing dock provides greater processing power for complex real‑time applications. The chassis maintains IP‑rated protection for work in harsh environments and supports optional 4G connectivity for remote operation. With the same 37 kg weight and 25 kg walking payload as the standard model, A2 Pro is designed for custom industry solutions requiring precise localisation, enhanced autonomy, and dependable all‑weather performance.
Solutions
With the Nortemsy Robotics Platform these quadruped robots move beyond being demonstrations or experimental devices: our system connects to the units in real time, automates supervisory tasks and allows the Go2, A2 or B2 to patrol, carry loads or inspect equipment autonomously.
Through cloud‑based fleet management, integrated sensors and advanced mission planning, the robots become reliable “team members” who can support human staff around the clock in a wide range of environments and roles. Below we present the most common use cases where quadruped robots have proven to work efficiently with Nortemsy solutions.
